Bellatrix Black / 7th year / Slytherin / Pureblood
The eldest black is one half of the Slytherin stereotype and also the ideal Pureblood for any power-hungry family. When you hear her name, the younger students cower and Slytherin house cracks a smile. When you see her strut down the hallway, you would dive out of her way in order not to bother her. Bellatrix, in short, is one of the most memorable bitches of the school. Her cold personality could only be due to her family name- the Blacks are known for not necessarily the best childhood, but also for incredible talent. Bellatrix takes pride in her name, her blood and her house and if you aren’t of the same level of egotism, then you must not understand what it’s like to be powerful.
Bella is vain and temperamental. When she becomes impatient with you, she will verbally tear you apart; which will be the least of your problems, since she’s been raised to perform the dark arts. Bellatrix is a beautiful kind of bully but doesn’t care enough to torture people not worth her time. For her own pleasure, she puts other through her own kind of hell- even the ones she cares about most. She doesn’t hate the people closest to her but she doesn’t express her care. Which is the perfect example for Rodolphus, whom she has never disclosed her emotions for. While Bellatrix has a harsh and cold exterior, it’s going to take more than kind words to break through.
